15 Minutes of Madness

We all have certain areas of the house that irritate us when they are messy.  Sometimes we feel that these areas have be clean and tidy before we can clean any other area in the house.

What I would like you to do is spend 15 minutes, before bedtime, cleaning those areas.  Whatever isn’t completely clean when 15 minutes is up doesn’t get done tonight.  It will have to wait until morning.  Let is go, relax.  That was your 15 Minutes of Madness.

If you perform this 15 Minutes of Madness every night your trouble areas will always be clean.  Make sure you set a timer before you start.  You are not to work more than 15 minutes.  When your hot spots are clean and there is minutes remaining on your timer you can branch out to clean other areas.  You will be surprised at how much can be cleaned in 15 short Minutes of Madness.

Now that everything under your beds has been stored in bags, pull the bags out.  Vacuum under all the beds in your house.  The next time that you clean under beds it will be much easier with everything stored in boxes or zipper bags.

Now it is time for cleaning under the left side of the bed.  Have a garbage bag handy to toss out garbage and items that haven’t been used for some time.  If you store things under your beds put the small items in a box or a zipper bag.

Today is a good day for everyone to clean under the right side of the bed.  Have a garbage bag handy to toss out garbage and items that haven’t been used for some time.  If you store things under your beds put the small items in a box or a re-usable closeable bag.  Store larger items in one of those large closeable bags.

If you like everyone can work together in each bedroom.  Put on some loud, peppy music, clean, toss, and store.

It is imperative that you encourage the children to clean by playing Tinker Bell and leaving notes of praise, treats, and surprises FOR EVERYTHING.
