Good afternoon Bonnie –

 

I was surfing around the net and came across your weblog. The first thing that struck me was the photo of the baseball diamond and the beautiful sunset - I said to myself 'sure reminds me of Saskatchewan' - was I ever surprised when it fact it was!!! I grew up in Saskatoon and now live in * __ * and miss a lot of things I grew up with.

 

I too have MS - I was diagnosed 13 years ago in * ____ * with RRMS. I have tried Copaxone and Avonex both with undesirable side effects - I am now off meds for a year and a half.

 

My journey with MS has not been without hardships but I know it could have been so much worse.  I am actually at a point in my life where I am feeling amazing and have more energy than I have had in years.  Two weeks ago at a neurologist visit I was told I will have to go back on medication - at this point I am not sure if I will or not.

 

A positive outlook on life, the love and support of my family have helped me make it through some of the tough times.
