Dear Members of the Rocky Mountain MS Center Community,

We want to create a different kind of resource for people-one that draws from the wisdom and experiences of those who have actually lived with MS. Last month we asked you to write a letter to someone newly diagnosed with MS telling him or her what you wish you had known during those first years after diagnosis. More than one hundred of you responded with letters that were wise, thoughtful and provocative. Comments from the newly diagnosed people who read your letters indicate how helpful your thoughts are. Thank you for your generous participation!

We hope you will help us again. Please write a letter your healthcare provider:

What do you wish he or she understood about treating a "whole person" with MS? What did he or she do, or not do, that made a big difference in how you coped with your MS? (Please be courteous and do not identify your healthcare provider by name.)

Please click here to contribute to this project. (Important: To participate you will need to login and click on New Topic. To login you will need to enter your username and password; these are both the same, your full email address including the @ symbol.)

If our project goes well we are considering compiling your responses into a book, so include your name (and contact information), if you like, or remain anonymous if you prefer.

We look forward to hearing from you!

Pat Daily, LCSW
Director of Counseling and Support
Rocky Mountain MS Center
