Taking the Stress out of your Life 6

 

1.    Get dressed

2.    Shine your sink

3.    Empty the dishwasher

4.    Check your calendar for what you need to do today

5.    Before you begin to cook

o  Fill your sink with hot, soapy water

o  As you use utensils, dishes, pots, and pans place them in the water

o  This will allow them to soak while you cook and eat.

o  After your meal either wash them by hand or put them in the dishwasher

o  This will save you a lot of time rinsing and/or scrubbing

6.    Eat something good for you.  A healthy breakfast is a great way to      start you day.  Cut up some fruit to snack on during the day.

7.    When you prepare your meals

o       please gather all the ingredients for the meal on your counter or you table

o       including all the necessary utensils and implements

o       including all necessary dishes and pots and pans

o       sit down and prepare the meal after everything is gathered

o       this will save a lot of time and energy

o       prepare the food that has to cook the longest first, then put it on to cook while you prepare the rest of the meal

o       prepare the all of your food now,

o       place the food that does not have start cooking right away in its proper pan etc

o       then place it in the refrigerator

o       take this food item out as necessary

o       after everything is either cooking or in the fridge put everything from your food preparations away at once

8.    At the end of the day write down 3 blessings that you had during        the day
