Taking the Stress out Your Life 4

I realize that right now you are spending a lot of time on housework.  I promise, after a few weeks of spending 15 minutes in various places of your house your rooms will start to stay cleaner.  If your like me after I cleaned my various rooms of accumulated items I was amazed at how much tidier the rooms were.  They were much easier to keep clean.  I was a slob of a housecleaner.  I got fatigued just looking at what I had to do to clean my house.

Breaking it down into little jobs, in little areas made life easier.  Knowing that I only had to spend a short time each day cleaning was a relief.  I hope it helps you too.

1                   Get dressed

2                   Wash and brush your teeth, comb your hair

3                   Shine your sink

4                   Empty the dishwasher

5                   Check your calendar

6                   Put a load of laundry in

7                   At the end of the day write down 3 blessings that you had during the day

8                   Evaluate working heights for maintaining good posture and preventing fatigue;

o       have various working levels in your different work areas to accommodate various tasks.

o       Sit whenever possible while performing tasks.

o       Use a tall stool with a back and casters.  This will eliminate walking and standing.

o       Put a laundry basket or a box in the middle of the floor.

o       Search out anything that does not belong in the living room.

o       Look in corners, under the chairs, couches, etc.

o       Watch for those elusive items that have been in the living room so long that they look like they belong there.

o       Grab them too.

o       No more than 15 minutes.

a.    Now divide the items in the basket/box up into the locations (including the garbage) that they belong in.

b.    Put everything in their proper places.

c.     Please finish this before bedtime.

10              Reward yourself for a job well done. Do something for yourself that will make you feel wonderful.

11              At days end write down 3 blessings that you had during the day.

HAVE A GREAT DAY!
