What is Shared Solutions®?

There are thousands of Canadians living with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) and each one is affected differently.  The important thing to remember is that you’re never alone in your fight.  Shared Solutions®, a patient support program sponsored by Teva Neuroscience, was created because we know there’s more to managing MS than just providing therapy.

A Confidential Personal Service

Shared Solutions® is a unique program offered to anyone affected by MS including patients, family, friends, caregivers, and healthcare professionals.  Anyone can use Shared Solutions® to access all kinds of support services.  When you call, you’ll have a one-on-one, confidential talk with a Shared Solutions® nurse consultant.  Our nurses will answer questions, provide on-going proactive follow-up, self-care advice and educational materials, assistance with injection training and reimbursement counselling, and more.

To benefit from our services, simply register to become a member by calling Shared Solutions® or filling out our online membership form.  Registration and all services are free of charge.

About Us

All Shared Solutions® nurses are specialized in MS.  Shared Solutions® draws on the collective knowledge of leading experts in the management of MS including physicians, nurses, patient advocates, caregivers, therapists, insurance advisors, and patients.  Our collective goal is to offer a skilled and comprehensive support program to help people overcome the challenges of living with this disease.

Whether you have questions about MS symptoms or therapy, give Shared Solutions® a call, or send an e-mail to info@sharedsolutions.ca.  We’ll refer you to one of our nurses who can answer your questions or provide you with information.  The next time you call, you can ask for the same nurse by name.  That way, you’ll have the advantage of talking with someone who already understands your individual needs.

Please note that our nurses do not make medical decisions, provide medical advice, nor give diagnosis.  They will direct your questions to the appropriate member of the healthcare community.

NOTE:  I am not sure if other countries offer a similar service, Bonnie
